Getting in

Studio access

Your personal door code was sent to you by email and text. Keep it confidential and don't share it. Need it resent? Message Annie.

Outside door: if it's locked, the key is in the lockbox on the landing. Return the key immediately after use and make sure the lockbox is closed and secured.

Guests: don't let anyone into the studio without you present, and please don't bring excessive guests into the space.

Before + during

Use gloves to reach into any supply container.

  • Explain aftercare, give sheet + ointment

After + clean up

Start with a clean hand and a dirty hand. Don't touch the procedure tray without gloves. Once your gloves touch the procedure tray they're contaminated — don't touch the mapping tray, chair, room, or your phone until you get new gloves.
  • All sharps to the sharps container
  • All disposables onto the procedure tray
  • Unwrap machine + green soap bottle
  • Roll up tray bag (don't touch outside with gloves)
  • Place gloves in bag
  • Spray all surfaces with Cavicide
  • Bed
  • Mapping tray
  • Procedure tray
  • Anything else you touched (wipe if it shouldn't be sprayed)
  • Let sit at least 2 minutes
  • Wipe down with a dry paper towel
  • Wash your hands

Before you leave

  • Everything put away, nothing left out
  • All surfaces wiped down
  • All lights turned off
  • Chair back under head of bed
  • Tray to the side of the chair
  • Mapping tray centered under the mirror
Turn off lights and music when you leave — unless other artists are still working.
First, the essentials

Before you work

  • Hold and maintain an active North Carolina tattoo permit to the Bellabrow space.
  • Sign the Open Studio Agreement before your first appointment. Review the agreement.
  • Bring your own procedure tools. Basic room supplies are provided; don't take materials from the studio or other artists.
Good to keep in mind

Studio policies

  • Payment: $550/month autopay, recurring until canceled, or $75 per session for drop-ins. Cancel with 30 days' notice; no refunds on payments already processed. Fee may change with 30 days' notice.
  • Missed payment: a failed autopayment locks your door code until resolved. After 5 days of non-payment, reserved times are canceled.
  • Booking: reserve on the calendar. First come, first served, 3-hour blocks, up to 3 artists.
  • Your responsibility: maintain your NC permit, use your own tools, manage your own clients, keep your own forms and aftercare.
  • Setup + breakdown: follow all sanitation steps, clean everything with Cavicide, return furniture and equipment to their spots.
  • Respect the space: don't remove materials, don't disrupt other artists, leave the studio as you found it.
  • Damage: you cover the cost of any damage you cause.
  • Confidentiality: don't share proprietary techniques, client info, or business practices. You're free to work at your own or another location.
